Joe Busch started “Joe Busch Ag Repair” in 1985. It began at the current location in Boone IA, with an 1800 square foot building, and one employee. We began as a diesel repair shop, focusing on agricultural equipment. In 2015, as we celebrate 30 years in business, we operate out of a 16,000 square foot facility, with 8 employees.
In 1990 Joe Busch retired from his 10 year tractor pulling career, with the tractor “Buck Fever,” to focus on building pulling tractors for other customers, in addition to the farm tractors we were already servicing.
Our tractor pulling program has been a great success, especially after the installation of an in-house engine dyno in 2011. Tractors that have come out of our shop have gone on to win some of the most prestigious tractor pulling events and championships in North America, including; Gordyville, Louisville, Tomah, NTPA Regional Championships, and an Outlaw Championship.
